This inept Biden Administration How in hell has the American Voter slid to the level of being able to appreciate that this President is firmly against anything that suggests "America First"? I seriously doubt that the Nation can recover from this idiocy. I fear for those younger than me, those who will feel the full brunt of the actions of 2021. Every day, my decision to move to an even more remote location than now, is justified and seems more sensible than yesterday.

Bear Creek Arsenal Multi-Caliber AR-15 I have really enjoyed my AR-15. I have become quite proficient with it, and feel totally comfortable in handling it. When the "gun grabbers" got really loud about the evils of a 30 round Magazine I looked into it and began buying 40 round magazines, and like them even better than the evil 30 round type. All other long guns that I have owned have been of the "Wood Stock" type, and at first I wasn't sure about how I would take to this one. I adapted to it quite well. While I wasn't financially ready to buy an AR-15, this one came along at just the right time. It cost me $20.00, as I bought a raffle ticket at a 6th Rangers Open House to support the "Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team". I didn't expect to win, but wanted to support the cause. It is a good weapon, dependable, and well built.

CHINA COULD DEFEAT THE USA CHINA could defeat, and own, the USA without firing a shot. Sound far fetched? What if China stopped exporting to the USA? The Los Angeles/Long Beach system alone, on Friday reported a new record of 134 ships in port, including 74 total ships at anchor and 60 at berth. 86 are containerships and 55 are at anchor, 31 at berth. This is what we get for giving up American quality, American manufacturing, just so we can buy stuff CHEAP, (<<Which is defined differently than "Inexpensive".). https://gcaptain.com/record-number-of-ships-at-southern.../

It is time, once again, to make a move. For years now, I have supplemented my Social Security Income by avoiding the cash burden of rent and utilities, by being a property caretaker/security/handyman. It works well for me, and gives me something to do in my retirement. These positions are "open ended", and after a time, for one reason or another, I have to move on to the next one. That time has come for the place I am at now, for several reasons. I will now hunt for a place, select from those that I see, and make that move. Each place I find has its good and less than good points. Often when I mention this, I think that people believe that I just pack a suitcase and move on to the next, unpack and I am good to go. I have much more than "just a suitcase". I have all the tools needed to do the things that the property owner might need me to do, as well as all the things needed to make my "home" be a home to me and my animals, as well as all the tools n...

Always With Love This is one of few things that I will copy and paste, but it is good. Expected Death ~ When someone dies, the first thing to do is nothing. Don't run out and call the nurse. Don't pick up the phone. Take a deep breath and be present to the magnitude of the moment. There's a grace to being at the bedside of someone you love as they make their transition out of this world. At the moment they take their last breath, there's an incredible sacredness in the space. The veil between the worlds opens. We're so unprepared and untrained in how to deal with death that sometimes a kind of panic response kicks in. "They're dead!" We knew they were going to die, so their being dead is not a surprise. It's not a problem to be solved. It's very sad, but it's not cause to panic. If anything, their death is cause to take a deep breath, to stop, and be really present to what's happening. If you're at home, maybe put on the kettle and...

I've been busy, both with laboring and with thinking. I will be making a move soon, more out of necessity than choice, but it will be for the better and an upgrade from my present situation. This move will generate a need for a lot of labor from me. I will have to dismantle things where I am at now, pack up all, including my wood shop, my stored items, my "porch" that is an alternative kitchen, and more. And mixed in with all this is that I will have to repair my old truck because of the damage caused when I was rear ended on Sept. 3rd. making my trailer hitch not usable. I expect that the insurance adjuster will "total" the truck, and pay me off, and that I will be able to buy it back from the insurance company. I can fix it, but the insurance probably won't want to pay to have it properly repaired. When I make my move, I will need to run electricity and water to my new site, and that will take labor on my part, as well as buying needed wiring, pipe fo...
